What the contact form collects
When you fill in the form, the following are recorded : your name, your email address, the subject and the message (required), as well as your phone number and your company name if you provide them (optional).
- Why : to reply to you, and where relevant prepare a proposal.
- On what basis : the pre-contractual steps you request (GDPR article 6.1.b) and the legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry (article 6.1.f).
- How long : three years after our last exchange, then deletion. If a contractual relationship begins, the contract's retention periods apply.
- Nothing is required : not filling in the form has no consequence beyond not receiving a reply.
Cookies
This site sets only two cookies, both necessary for it to function :
session_id: keeps your session active during your visit.frontend_lang: remembers the display language.
There is no advertising cookie, no audience-measurement tool, no third-party tracker — no Google Analytics, no social-network pixel. That's also why no consent banner is shown to you : there would be nothing for it to ask you to accept.
One caveat, for honesty's sake : the site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts' servers, which sends your IP address to Google. This is a theme setting due to be fixed by hosting the fonts directly on the site.
Who else has access
The site and the enquiry-tracking tool are hosted by Odoo S.A., a company under Belgian law, acting as processor. No one else.
Your data is never sold, rented, or exchanged, and is never used for prospecting on behalf of a third party.
What you can require
GDPR gives you the right to request access to your data, its correction, its deletion, the restriction of its processing, its portability, and to object to its processing. Simply write to contact@towardsdigital.be ; a reply follows within one month.
If the reply doesn't satisfy you, you can refer the matter to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels — autoriteprotectiondonnees.be.
The appointment-agent service
This document covers only this website. Practices using the appointment-booking agent sign a separate data processing agreement describing how their patients' data is handled, retention periods, and hosting location. It is handed to them at setup.
